Overpriced Selling Part 1

Hey Guys,

I wanted to make a post on a favorite method for the busy FUT player, Overpriced Selling! This method is reliant on constantly relisting cards, having a big budget and staying patient.

You may know this method under a few different names such as Tech Avion, Chilled Trading, Overpriced Selling or Lazy listing. I have my own unique take on it especially during TOTS!

It can be outlined as simply listing cards 10-20% over their current buy now and hoping for sales. It sounds simple, but why do people consistently overpay and how can we entice a higher volume of sales?

In today's examples we see -

TOTS Otamendi bought around 28 sold 35-37K

TOTS Giakoumakis bought around 29 sold 35-37K

Picking the right cards is essential for this method and you can take two approaches -

1. SBC FODDAAA

SBC fodder cards are bought in mass. They're used in solutions and promote lazy sales on the SBC menus. I know I personally buy cards lazily on this screen and often overpay a few K to save some time. Thousands of other people do the same thing.

On top of this, people rush to buy specific SBC fodder based on Futbin solutions. Without too much detail, they think they're getting a "cheap" solution when in reality everyone rushing to buy the same cards inflates their price heavily.

If you have cards featured in SBC solutions, it promotes way more lazy buying.

During TOTS, I love to focus on TOTS cards who are near the cheapest of their rating. This keep them in SBC solutions due to the requirements of "1TOTS or TOTW". They naturally fluctuate in price as they get in and out of solutions, but it also promotes a huge amount of buyers in a short period.

Today, I used the following TOTS:

Memisevic

Wang Shencao

Mierz....you know him

Giakoumakis

Otamendi

Klaasen

As you see, some TOTS are the cheapest of their rating, which sets up well!

2. META

For this one, I like to focus on META cards that have multiple specials. It makes them more challenging to find on the market and harder to filter out. It promotes lazy sales based on chemistry styles, unique position changes and more.

I also like to focus on META cards around content, so in this case cards in the Eredivisie, CSL and Serie A will have more buyers this week!

This also works extremely well on people mass buying golds, but that's more prominent early in the game cycle. This would work on players like Walker, VVD, Martial, etc.

The key to this method is understanding you will only sell 3-5% of your listed cards each time! If you get more than that, it's a huge win, but as an expectation selling 3 cards per 100 listed would not be far off.

So, how much profit can you make? The answer is actually a lot. On a good day, with big buyers and cards listed all day I have seen this method exceed 500K. On a more standard day, with constant relists and the right cards selection 150k is very achievable.

As you see below and via the post in Discord, I sold over 30 Otamendi TOTS 5-7K over his current price today. On him alone, I exceeded 150K profit.

I personally aim to buy 5-10 cards of a few select players I have success with and replace them when they sell! I use a mix of META cards as well as SBC fodder to give some variety and cards I can replace throughout the day.

Today, I combined overpriced selling with some day trading and was able to achieve over 500K profit on a 2 million coin budget. Remember, once you have all these trading tools in the belt you can make coins whenever you want.

One more key note is that buying in between supply periods is always a great shout. For example, buying fodder at rewards tomorrow and selling all day before Marquee is a great look. You will get good prices at rewards and be lazy listing for those smashing SBC's after receiving their rewards. It's a great setup/.
