The Retirement of our Adventurer's Guides and One-Shot Adventures

Hey everyone, after much consideration and thought, we have unfortunately come to the conclusion that we will have to discontinue our Adventurer's Guides and, with them, any one-shot adventures. After two years of making them, we've had a blast creating new, interesting locations for our adventures, filling them with interesting NPCs and magical items.

Unfortunately, like some of our other ideas, they just haven't reached a level of success that makes sense for us to continue. We only had between 30-50 patrons subscribed to the adventurer's guide tier at any one time, which has only ever been enough funds to just cover our artists' wages.

I'd like to really thank everyone who is a current subscriber of the Conquer of Civilization / $7 tier or has ever subscribed to it for all of your support for the guides, as it was a really fun experience.

With us dropping the guides, it does, however, have an upside. I'll finally have enough time to get around to my massive list of updates I need to do for the Patreon, like making a full download list for the foundry maps and keeping the rest of the map lists up to date, making sure all the assets are up to date (re-uploading the assets so it's not a complete mess as it's been 5+ years since I started map making now!).

In addition, I have a truckload of map uploads I need to do for our own website and Drivethrurpg which I haven't been able to do. Now that doesn't directly affect you guys but is really important for getting new people to find our work. :P

Also, if you have any other suggestions about how to improve the quality of life, let me know as this is the time I can fix them. I can't promise I can implement them all but letting me know there's a problem allows me to at least look into it. :)

In addition, I will be leaving the Conquer of Civilization / $7 tier open for the rest of March so those who would still be interested in picking up all of the 24 guides can still get them at a good price after which the tier will be removed, and the guides will only be able to be picked up on our website.

If you're a current subscriber to the Conquer of Civilization / $7 tier, just be sure to downgrade before the first map upload this month, around the 9th-10th, so you're not charged at the $7 rate as there will be no additional adventurer's guide this month.
