News from the north has spread that a new king has come into power over the tribes of the northern peoples and that they intend to lay siege to the fortress of the great gates before heading further south to raid the kingdoms for slaves and gold.
You’ve been tasked with assisting in holding the fortress should it come to that, while others have been sent out in a vessel with a diplomat to try and make peace with this new king before any blood has been shed.
However two days later a small armada of northern ships are sighted on the horizon setting anchor. During that night an alarm is rung. The gates have been breached by a small force of northerners and they’re fighting to kill. Both docks have been taken by the northerners and the gates are wide open but un-damaged, for it seems they were opened from the inside!
After the alarm goes off some of the guards manage to close the gates again but not before larger sailing vessels begin their attack on the fortresses exterior. With the guards busy you’ll need to defend both sides of the inner fortress and protect those firing the cannons from the barbarians that have assaulted the docks.
After the attacking ships have been dealt with and the barbarians have been slain, it will be time to root out a potential traitor who opened the gates to these savages!

I've just updated all the posts with the new desert themed fortress map. Enjoy everyone! :)
Also if anyone else is running any particular campaigns let me know so I know what type of maps and variants I should be painting, I can't promise I'll do something that will work for you every time but the more I know about what you guys are playing the closer I can get. :)
I also have a desert campaign that I am running on Roll20. So VTT would be fine for me. Great work!
This might seem like an odd question to ask after your amazing work. But how hard would a sand version of this fort be to make? I happen to be running a desert game where this would be perfect! =)
Hey Something which files do you need it formatted as? changing it to desert is pretty easy for this map, but making the pdf for instance takes a bit longer. ;)
