Not having sheera, lupas or both is gonna be rough, the trio is just so fun to watch with, well im gonna enjoy this anime with roshi, My fav reactors for anime, series and stuff 👍

Hi! If you need help let me know! Some of the episodes that are missing is due to the issues Roshi was having with Vimeo and doesn't have back ups. Now they use Streamable and I think Patreon also has their own video streaming too. I think only 2 episodes were not available through this series (4th time watching it through with Roshi) and that with Bisky later during a training arc against scissors MaGee.

This is my favorite anime, and I am SO happy that you are watching it for the first time! I was a bit hurt that this was a solo watch, but you explained it perfectly. It wouldn't be a REAL reaction if they had joined because one has read it and one has watched it. I know I am a bit late to the party Roshi, but I want you to know that I cannot express enough how much it means to me that you guys are a chill group. I never watch the 1999 version but I prefer the 2011 version more because of the graphic. And I love Gon and Kirua's voice so much!!!
u can watch the OVA, it is basically greed island arc bec 1999 version stopped at yorknew arc(caught up to the manga). PLUS 2011 version have lots of cuts since it is a remake up to chimera arc(thats why chimera arc is longer than the other arcs).
The 1999 version is definitely better in the first arcs leading up to the Yorkshin City arc. It was darker and I think it's because of the time slot the 2011 had. I heard that once the time slot changed, 2011 version was able to go 'darker' which is more in tune to HxH's theme. With that said I really hope you'd do a reaction of the 1999 version's biggest fights. Like at least the Kurapika vs Uvogin fight and the Zoldyck's vs Chrollo fight. And no the manga didn't start off exactly like this (fast paced). There were some more events leading up to that boat ride, and the 2011 version skipped Kite's meeting with Gon in Whale Island.
This is dope but at the same time it's so weird not having Sheera and Lupa to bounce off of lol
