Remember when he wanted to get revenge on his childhood friend, Mikey.... because of how Mikey's brother was killed *checks notes* by Kazutora.... when Kazutora tried to steal a bike for Mikey's birthday.... from the bike shop Mikey's brother's owned... which was already meant to be a birthday present for Mikey.... from the brother who Kazutora killed? I know he was just a kid, but that's not someone I'd wanna risk working with. 😅

To be fair, teenage Mikey literally spent *hours* listening to Takemichi trauma dump around 3 seasons worth of Tokyo Revengers lore. After everything he heard, it's hard to blame the guy for thinking Toman needed to disband for everyone else to have a better future. 😅 As we've seen time and time again, the "Invincible" Mikey is a hot mess, and without positive influences in his life, he always goes off the deep end. His mental state is an untreated, festering wound, and because he never asks for help, it keeps getting worse. You're right, he probably didn't need to leave his friends, but he's always putting others first, so it's not surprising. Plus, with the exception of Baji, Draken, and Mitsuya, the Toman boys aren't exactly known for their brainpower, and Mikey's taken a lot of damage to the head in his fights, so the idea of running a book club likely never crossed his mind. 🤣
