MY niggas don't know just how lucky we were to get DMC4 let alone DMC5... For an ugly stepchild of a franchise like DMC (It's the Butt Baby that was supposed to be RE) EVERY HIT it ever made was by accident lol. The first game was a test, the 2nd game was ONLY a cash grab follow up, the 3rd actually got all the love of a real game (then they fucked the US audience with that FALSE difficulty), and the 4th was A COMPLETE BURNOUT that wasn't even finished, though still fun for the most part. Then the 5th one took 12 years to get... And it's MAINLY thanks to the success of RE7. Yes, Biohazard saved DMC from death. Remember they just GAVE it to Studio Ninja? Yeah, they were gonna let homie make 3 straight Dragon's Dogma games in a row otherwise! Basically, after a little research, It's POSSIBLE that Capcom has started development on a remake (most likely of DMC3, just retitled) already... but with their typical 4-6 year development cycles, earliest you'd see it is in 2 years. The anime should be over and done with, so maybe they'll announce something around s3??? I was honestly thinking of a possible remake while playing DMC3 last night and decided it wasn't necessary. Update the graphics, but the BAD camera angles and the BUSTED controls are what made that game (and others) GREAT, but BACK THEN. It would have to be completely reworked with new controls and whole new concept of gameplay. Imagine DMC Remake or even DMC 6 playing like a Sekiro or some shit 🤣 (Before you comment.... "HOLY YAP", amiright? 😂)
