About taiju previously being a secondary character. My theory is that he was just too annoying. He’s great but he just yells and doesn’t really contribute much that plenty of other characters provide. He’ll always be goated for being willing to do the hard work and for how he helped senkyu out at the start of the show, but the show already has enough screaming idiots and oafs. At least they replaced him with a screaming smart character

You know what, the intro made me remember that Yuzuhira used to have long hair. You'd think it would have grown back by now. I get the artists don't want to redesign everyone every episode, but the passage of time is really is confusing when everyone looks the same as they did 10 years ago

Fun fact: as of 2026, there are 600 active & planned undersea cables. These use fiber-optic technology, and there are about 1.5 million km (932k miles) of cables in service. So yes, 95-99% of the internet is just undersea cables that are as wide as a garden hose. P.S. Satellites account for just 0.37% of all U.S. international capacity (source: U.S. FCC)
Is it just me or has pacing been completely crazy this season. I have no idea how much time passed in this episode alone. Creating the cables for the internet mustve taken several months, not even considering how much time it took to actually get them in place.
The pacing is super quick in the manga as well. At least the anime is staying true to the source material.
If we're about to see Ryusui do what I think he's gonna do, what a great way to conclude Mr. Greed's story arc. I'm really gonna miss this show. 😭
Ryusei really did show up in season 3 and became one of the most important characters in the show.
