I think we need immediate clarification on how movies will be decided because that answer genuinely changes it from "all on board with this change" to potentially "excuse me, what the fuck?" We do NOT want to see really terrible movies that were freestyled into a reaction like Primate or War of the Worlds remake. If it's going to be a thing, it should be structured and serious. If you're going to lean more into things the three of you chose, we need polls weekly at a bare minimum. If you're going off the strength of "I saw people in the comments mentioning it" then we still need some form of voting and the comments aren't a reliable place anyways, so something like a Hangout for movies specifically or some sort of google form that can be submitted to, or a discord channel, something, is necessary.

I've read some of the comments and i really can't understand why alot of you are so unreasonable to people having complaints which are totally valid. The reality is that not everyone here consumes all of their content; for example people consume only their anime content, the k-drama content or maybe a combination of action and k-drama/ anime and k-drama. Not everyone here consumes ALL of their content. Because of that, the 2 extra dollars increase can feel significant and understandably a reason to complain because at the end of the day, not all (or if at all) of the movies they will post will be everyone's cup of tea. This is why replies like "just unsubscribe" is such a dismissal of engaging in a constructive discussion in order to reach the actual problem. It's like you're plugging your ears and just yell gibberish to the person who's addressing valid concerns. Similarly, the phrase "if 2$ is a deal breaker for you, then you have bigger problems", oversimplifies the issue. It assumes that everyone receives the same value from the sub, which isnt the case at all. People evaluate value differently deoending on what content they actually consume and how much they use they use the trio's service. I can understand why people in the comments are voicing a different subscription structure. But this can impact heavily or not the profit the trio makes from this. Only the they know how much value they get from each type of show, that if patreon has that kind of feature of relaying information to the creator.

My only real concern is variety. I just hope the movie polls include a mix of genres and not the same type of content back-to-back. Also, I’ve been seeing people clown others over the price change, and that’s honestly pretty immature. People’s situations can change at any time, you are not exempt, and $2 might not mean much to one person but could matter to someone else. Every dollar counts, and it’s normal for people to have concerns when prices go up. At the end of the day, for a lot of people this isn’t just random spending, it’s comfort content. So having some empathy around that just makes sense. Overall I’m just hoping for more range so more people can actually tap in consistently.
