Yeah my one gripe about this final arc is that it’s pretty easygoing up until the final confrontation, but I think that’s a consequence of having the Tsukasa arc, the Treasure Island arc, and the Dr Xeno arc back to back to back.

Theres been time skips on screen but they go by pretty fast if you're not looking for them, senku is around his mid 20s by this part of the story, like remember this shit is not taking a single day and they're going around the planet in a boat on trips that take months at a time.
