Pretty sure it’s chronological order so everything happens relatively at the same time it’s not like super big jumps but more of moments passing. For example with Maximus and Big poppa, they arrived right after Oppenheimer left. So it wasn’t like a day passed or it’s different years it’s just happening all relatively at the same time

He could've just used the black coat at night to keep warm and the lab coat during the day to keep cool and then had to ditch the lab coat because it draws too much attention to him.

That whole section was a bit weird to me. The knight wanted to randomly jump out of the heli to go shoot ish up....then they randomly find where the Dr. and the dog had chilled for a bit. Best not to think about. Just turn your thinking cap off and pretend you accidentally started the miniquest before meeting the quest giver.

tbh the timeline in this series is confusing all the way to the end and even afterwards...

I don't think its any kind of mistake or timeline thing I think they just wanted to show what lucy was doing then where the doc when then that the brotherhood ended up in the same place but that Titus didn't have the sense to just leave when he heard something weird

I think he was just cold and then warm and then cold again. Since the show never actually points to it being a time line thing and will never do that again, I just write it off as that cause trying to make sense of it doesn’t really get you anywhere worth it

I also thought this was a time difference mainly with the brotherhood of steel finding docs camps sight and how old everything looked but nah they are all in the present time just a little bit behind/a head of each other. I just gotta say my brother is goofy as hell in that power suit I can already see the power trip coming with him. Nah where’s my junk jet

Lucy might’ve exited the vault a day or so after Maximus/Wilzig ran into the bear, and because she was closer to Filly, she and Max ended up arriving at about the same time (Wilzig got there at the same time as Lucy because he had a slight lead on Max) Who knows though maybe it’ll be a huge plot point in S2 😂

Most likely they shot Lucy and the Doctor scene as an after thought and forgot to switch his outfit back. But the timeline is Linear.

It's probably just an editing thing, but my headcanon is that he took the lab coat off at night because he'd be less visible with darker clothes on, but he didn't actually ditch the coat until he was almost to Filly where he would start running into more people who might be looking for a guy in a lab coat.

I mean you weren’t wrong but it was only for that one scene. It showed her at the camp. The Dr arrives. The I believe it shows the Dr going to the cave. Where the bear was. Then it shows the knight arriving there too and he mentions that the Dr was there before them. The theory was in fact right. But it was only for that one scene.
