Episode 30 | A Grounding, A Drawbridge & A Wild Coast
A wonderful day to all fellow Winded Voyagers!
It's Tuesday and time for another chapter forme and Galopin. Just as I'm about to leave Alicante, I meet Diana Ross in person, as well as her husband Paul. They happen to be Winded Voyage followers. My journey continues in calm weather along the coast until I get to Mare Menor where I have pass under a drawbridge to get to the marina.
The next day wind is brisk and I sail out to sea to tack along the coast to Cartagena. Things didn't work out as I'd hope and I'm forced to go into a marina as I'm heading against headwinds and beating waves. The marina is too shallow and next thing I know I'm stuck in the sand. We manage to get free and I must continue along the Costa Calida towards Cartagena into the night. My navigation error rewards me with a most beautiful sight. A wild undeveloped coast bathed in the setting sun. Viva España!
Big hugs and much love to you all!
Alex.

Love your work, Alex. We saw the sun today, here in Scotland. I was going to close my eyes and pretend I was in Spain but I was scared it wouldn't be there when I opened them again. Anyway, I can just watch Winded Voyage instead!
