Episode 29 | Coasting The Costa Blanca
Hello Winded Voyagers!
In this episode I continue south from Marina Denia along the Coast Blanca. All is well and I'm going downwind with the spinnaker. I need to jibe, and my spinnaker gets all tangled up around my forestay in y failed attempt to do this manoeuver. So plans change and I go into and Marina Calpe. There's a big rock mountain over looking Calpe, so I couldn't help but hike up it. Later I continue and pass by the beach metropolis of Benidorm, a sort of vacation development freak show until I finally end up in Alicante.
Thank you all, big hugs and much love.
Alex.

Fabulous. Alex, man you're just clipping along out there by yourself! I'm sure you're proud of the progress. You're making it look easy so I'm getting my nerve up to get out there! Are you going to stop in Malaga?
Alicante is a port stopover for the Volvo Ocean Race, so yeah, they will be looking for money. Btw, the music during your hike reminded me of Ravel, No?
Apparently Alicante is where the race begins. There's a museum, but din't go to see the inside. (Looked from the outside and thought I'll go there later and...) The Mountain music is a track I found in the Youtube Audio library. There are some really great tracks in there.
Music selection for this episode was right on point. Big Kudos!
I had fun with the music on this one.
Sometimes city's spend to make themselves look prosperous ( common here in the States) but it's still lip stick on a pig...I need to be there though..
Benidorm is like Miss Piggy. That's a good one:-)
