Episode 9 | Hi Ho, Hi Ho & Off To Work We Go
Hello Patrons, my fellow Winded Voyagers.
It’s great to have you aboard the continuing adventures in boat refitting. What I thought would take just a couple of weeks has spread over more than two months. And still going.
So it’s work, work, work. After a quick stint in Switzerland to do a paying gig, I board a train to my dear Galopin to do more work. And thanks to Neptune, I’m working with one of the best boat pros in the area. As far as I’m concerned, Daniel is probably the best in the world. Certainly in my world. His attention to details is almost scary. He’s refitting Galopin to last and to deal with most worst case scenarios. He’s like a boating fortune teller. Dan is the Man, and he just does it right.
I’m so fortunate to have Daniel doing it right. It’s costing some hard cash and many hours of labor. And worth it. Thank so much for your support, it’s a great help keeping this adventures on course.
Much love, Alex.

He is indeed! He knows these old boats are built solid and tougher than the newer ones. And now he's been modernising the old boy. (I've decided Galopin is a dude. GAlopin means Rascal:-)
Dan is a great friend. You'll have an almost 'new' sailboat soon !!
Really great video, you're almost there mate
One of your best, really getting the feeling of brotherhood and accomplishment. I'm with you , Come on Mads, sail that damn thing!Best fortune my friend...
I mean no disrespect to perfectionists like Mads. He impresses me, but it seems he'll continuously find problems to fix. He quite fun to watch and knows his stuff.
