Winded Voyage 2 | Episode 5 | Not So Silent Night
Learning the ropes of sailing, fixing, navigating has been a challenge. Then putting all these experiences together on video to the best of my capabilities has also been challenging. To be frank, it’s been a lot more than I ever imagined. And yet, it’s what I’ve wanted to do. Create an living adventure series. Based on real life experiences.
Every week I put out a new episode and in return I get more and more followers, or Winded Voyagers. Slowly and surely people like you get swept up in the story. And the best part is your comments and support. Your help is making this project possible. Proving that the almost impossible is possible.
So thanks to you, here’s another episode. More challenges. More lessons. More adventures.
Navigating at night is really cool when you're in the middle of the ocean. But when you're near the coast and coming into port it's less cool and sometimes hot. After a nice sail from Tarragona, we get into Port Vale in Barcelona in the darkness and I end up in the wrong port. On our way North I get a surprise night time visit from the authorities. Not so silent nights.

That would have been quite heroic to take on Leticia as a crew member... to cook. The coast guard were cruising with their lights off, they just showed up and seemed like they were out to ram me. Was totally freaked at the time.
I thought you were going to my hero for life with a new beautiful crew member!!! The fear from the coast guard was showing in the whites of your eyes my friend...Stay safe.
