Episode 17 | Testing One, Two, Three
Hi Winded Voyagers. The test results are in. I passed 2 out of 3 sections. Passed the navigational and the general questions, but failed the tides section. Luckily I can redo the part I failed at a latter date. So, I take a break from sail related things and visit a documentary film festival in the charming town of Nyon near my brother's house.

How did I see a snippet of your doc on Nile Rogers before this? Did you post some of it on Youtube? I really liked it, especially the part when Nile walks past a poster of a sexy lady and says something to the effect, "hey kids, practice a lot and this is what you get." haha! Great documentary!
Hi Jon. I put a few shots of my Nile Rodgers' doc in an earlier episode. That part in front of the sex shop is great. We had just walked out of a music store where he talks about his life in music, then makes a joke in front of the sex shop:-)
Oh yea I really like your piece on the guitar tech,Terry Brauer. Looks like you had a lot of fun making that.
Terry was a really great guy and friend. Happy you saw the real guy behind the legend. To be frank, I helped him get herbal local flavours when gigging in Switzerland. We'd hang around and he'd tell me all sorts of great on-the-road stories.
Ahh there it is! As the great Meatloaf said ..Two out of three aint bad, you'll get'er buddy.
