Episode 4 | Sailing Solo To A New Island
Ola Winded Voyagers!
It's time for some real Cape Verde sailing. I just have a few projects to finish, and will sail into the night. At midnight we set sail for a 30 plus hour passage from the island of Sao Vicente to Maio island in Cape Verde Africa. Conditions are as expected. Strong but constant winds for the most part, but the swell and wind waves cross and bounce me and Galopin at a good pace. It's back to to the ocean, sailing to a new island, Maio.

Great solo sailing video! I've always found night sailing a mystical experience, surging through black seas in the dark of night, you might want to share what it feels like, hard to get video but capturing the mood would be cool.
Great suggestion, as I have had amazing experiences in night sailing. I tried to convey the feeling early on in Season 2. As well recently when dolphins swam through glowing bleu plankton creating surreal blue trails. Wish I could have filmed that.
