Episode 14 | A Crew Of Mandingo Sailors

Happy Tuesday Winded Voyagers. In this episode we go back out to sea with Galopin and a full crew of Mandingo Sailors.

What is a Mandingo? Fierce African warriors! And in Cape Verde also great sailors. It was great to have them aboard as they know the local waters. That's probably why we caught a big Mahi Mahi.

Peixe was my go to guy. It was our first time sailing together. He was thrilled as he had not been out to sea for several months. He led me and Galopin to a safe anchorage off the south coast of Santa Antao. And all of us were invited to share the fish and good times in the small picturesque village of Tarafal.
