Episode 5 | Living Anchored In Porto Grande
Long term life aboard at anchor. It takes some getting used to. Gone are the conveniences of being moored to a pontoon with electricity, water and long hot showers. Now I must learn to make do with what I have on board. But I am not alone. We are a community. All living off the grid in Mindelo Bay. You'll get to meet some of our neighbors and how we entertain ourselves. It's certainly not dull.
Thanks to you, I am now also living solely from my series. I could not do this without you and I'm eternally grateful. Big hugs and much love to you all!

Alex: great video. I think you are the Anthony Bordain of sailing channels. By the way, you might enjoy Christian Williams channel. I know I do.
Hello Benjamin! I thought I'd replied to your message several days ago, but here it doesn't seem like it. Anyways, thanks for the comparison to Anthony Bourdain. I checked out Christian's channel. Sounds interesting, but he seems sad... It's fun out there:-)
Another great one. Especially love the music change when finding your snubber! I love to sample the local rums when we go elsewhere. The over proof Jamaican rum really did me in, everything else I have really enjoyed. We can slip down to Mexico and get Cuban rum, best value for great rum, but not homemade. Had some great homemade "tequila" (I think it was really Mezcal, but because it was home made, nothing on the bottle) in Mexico and some great moonshine from an uncle in Missouri.
I love Mezcal! As well as Tequila con Sangria chaser (the way Mexicans drink it). Spend a good amount of time in Mexico. Love it! The rum here did me in on several occasions. went over the limit a few times and now know better... I hope. Thanks Cal for your kind comment and support. Will keep the episodes coming. So much here to see and experience.
Super episode, très varié et la prise de vue en Drone c'est top. Cuidate primo, je viens de trouver bientôt
Hola Primo!!! Me réjoui que tu viennes! J'adore l'ambiance ici. Et je commence just a découvrir. Je découvre aussi beaucoup sur ce que veut dire vivre au mouillage. Plus sauvage et authentique. On vas bientôt bouger et découvrir d'autres isles. Hasta pronto!
