Snow Birds
This is the winter home of many birds species. I'm no avian expert, but I am intrigued by all these birds flying above Galopin and I. The big birds, literally big birds also nest here. The young ones have not gotten their colors yet and just hang around. The giant trees are their winter time shares. And it seems the demand is high and space limited. This place must be a birdwatcher's paradise.

Lori looked it up online. I watch what's in my yard. But not an avid birdwatcher. We definitely don't have Storks here. Lot more Eagles, Herons, ducks and Swans in the Mystic Lakes than when you lived here. Get pretty close to them when we kayak.
Ah, ok. Birds are pretty amazing to watch when they're around. There weren't many in Cape Verde. I've been told there's an island, called Bird Island I should visit. It's I the mangroves. But at the moment I'm waiting for a part for my outboard so I can get around in the dinghy. BTW, thank Lori
It is a juvenile Painted Stork or Yellow Billed Stork
You seem to know your birds. Are you a bird watcher? They're beautiful when they fly
