I Couldn’t Resist Them | How I Spent My 64th Birthday In Mindelo Cabo Verde

Having my birthday mid-January, it’s too close to end of year festivities for me to partying so soon. As well it would be my 64th birthday. Not an age I enjoy announcing loudly. But this is Mindelo, Cabo Verde. Where things are very different. There is no age racism here. As long as you can have a good time, you’re accepted. And when in Mindelo, you have friends that will make it hard to resist turning up the volume. So enjoy a bit of fun with us, now that I’m 64.
