Patreon Update Annoucement 20260305

Hi everyone! I’m Risenpaw.

I want to thank you all for your incredible patience. I know I haven’t been as active lately, but I’ve used this time to reflect on your feedback and the future of this Patreon. I’m excited to announce some major updates to my content and membership tiers!

• Why the Change?

Over the years, I’ve realized that the "one page per week" model is unsustainable for me. Unlike professional studios, I work without assistants, background artists, or AI tools. Every stroke and composition comes solely from my own hands. To prevent burnout and maintain high quality, I am shifting my focus to Art Packs.

• What is an "Art Pack"?

An Art Pack is a curated collection of themed content released all at once. For my comics, I will release them in bundles of 4 to 5 pages. Once a milestone is reached, the pack will be uploaded. This allows me to adjust my workflow and promote my work more effectively.

If I feel burnt out from comic making, I can switch to drawing character art I enjoy and release a pack for it, then return to the comic when I’m ready. This also means I can group story-focused pages together, so you won’t lose track of the story's progression as you might with weekly updates. These packs will remain Patreon-exclusive for a period before being released elsewhere. I also plan to create Commission Packs and Mini-comic Packs depending on my schedule!

• Does this mean no more weekly updates?

Correct. Forcing myself to hit a weekly deadline has been my primary source of stress. While it started as a good goal, it became a source of guilt during creative blocks. Moving forward, I will work at a healthier pace. If I anticipate any delays, I’ll keep you updated here. Please don’t worry—I’m still here and creating!

• Project Progress Update

I am currently working on my new comic, "Out of Control 2: The Tale of an Ice Dragon." I’ve already completed 30 pages of drafts! Once the first Art Pack is ready, I’ll let you know. Simultaneously, I am remastering my older works—adjusting colors and text—to be released as PDF collections.

Patreon Tier Changes

• NEW Art Pack Tier ($10): This is my main recommended tier. Members can view and download the latest Art Packs (PDF or Zip), including full-color comic pages, recent commissions, remastered works, and WIP content (which was previously in the $15 tier).

• Patreon Feed Tier: This remains essentially what the Comic Tier was, showing page-by-page updates. However, please note that pages will be updated after the pack is released and will no longer follow a weekly schedule.

• Panelist Tier ($20 - Formerly "Early Content Tier"): Note to current members: Your pledge will stay at $15 unless you unpledge! By joining this tier, members can vote and give suggestions for upcoming Art Packs (character appearances, alt comic pages, etc.). I’m also planning a very cute physical merch project for this tier—stay tuned!

Honestly, I feel like I’m releasing a major game update! These changes make me both nervous and excited. I hope you’ll join me in this new chapter and continue to support my journey.

See you next time!
