This year for Finnish Brutality I am shooting in Armored division, with a 7.62x39mm Stenzel SAK-21 as my rifle and a left-handed Laugo Remus as my pistol. Since those aren't military-issue firearms I decided to go with more civilian clothing instead of fatigues - I am wearing a Varusteleka L4 field shirt and tactical jeans. My plate carrier is a Varusteleka low-profile, with three mag pouches set up for AK mags. The combat belt has a BattleGnome L3 holster for the Laugo, two Varusteleka pistol mag pouches, a Cro Medical IFAK, and an Acta Non Verba Anthropoid dagger.
Unfortunately, have really excellent kit means that I have no excuses for poor performance!

Glad to see you’re using the Largo Alien. Ultra low bore axis pistols aren’t getting much love these days with the current obsession with comps and ports, even though those have definite down sides.
Very modern weapons and gear - with Warsaw Pact era AK magazines! Despite the weight penalty the old school Combloc steel AK magazines are so very reliable and durable.
Great choice on the rifle. I'm glad I'll get to see this piece put through some competition for a couple days.

Formerly in good shape for 80 years old, recently diagnosed with AFIB which has greatly limited my exercise routine because I have to keep my pulse rate down. I greatly envy you youngsters who have so much fun with the Brutality Matches. I remember when I watched you slogging through a giant mud puddle in your kilt thinking OMG that looks like fun. I wish that had been available to me 40 or 50 years ago. Have fun and be safe!.

I like the extra phone/mag pocket on those jeans. 5.11's jeans also have that pocket and I've found it to be very handy. The Fairbairn-Sykes knife is an awesome tool; I have a repro of the OSS version and I'm blown away by its balance.
Where's the pouch for smokes or dip? And make sure you're carrying a boo-boo kit for Les!

As a couch potato over 65 years old, I have to do minimum body weight exercises just to maintain the ability to stand for four hours, to walk four miles, or to lift a rifle to shoot in the offhand position. (Rifle shooters need to maintain flexibility or they can’t even do the three positions of the National Match.)
