Welcome to the Chichi.stl print help hub! 🐾
All Chichi.stl models are designed for FDM printing and are tested before release.
Please always read the instructions inside the individual model post first. If a release post gives different settings, those settings always take priority.
General print settings
For most models, I recommend:
• Material: PLA
• Layer height: 0.16 mm for the best balance of detail and speed
• Fine details: 0.12 mm when you want a smoother result
• Scale: 100% unless the model post says otherwise
• Supports: usually not needed unless clearly stated in the release post
Use your normal, well-tested printer profile whenever possible.
Colour files and AMS
All releases include 3MF files with colour-separated parts.
You can use the included files with AMS or recolour the parts in Bambu Studio or your preferred slicer.
If a model uses colour changes by layer, magnets, switches, glue, or assembly parts, the exact instructions will be included in that specific release post.
Assembly
Some dioramas, clickers, and multi-part models may require:
• glue
• magnets
• a switch
• press-fit assembly
• simple colour changes
Please check the release post before printing to confirm what is needed.
If something does not print correctly
Before messaging me, please check:
• that the file was downloaded completely
• that your printer is calibrated
• that your filament is dry and printing normally
If you still need help, please send me:
• the model name
• your printer model
• filament type
• layer height
• slicer screenshot or a photo of the print issue
This helps me identify the problem much faster.
