So... 21 people like the post and 20 couldn't afford a donation. That's assuming Ray was one of the people who liked the post. Also, sincere thank you to Ray. AGAIN, at times when things are at their darkest... I am reminded I have some amazing friends and I appreciate everything they do for me, even though life is hectic as fuck.
Whomever says no news is good news, is a knucklehead. Response to making In the Bag was..... bi-polar? Whilst making .2, I ascended to my highest numbers ever and then shortly before releasing it I dropped down to PMHA finale levels. Oof. It has NOT shown any signs of returning.
I know the obvious elephant in the room: "It's the economy." It might be, but am I ignoring some kinda factor here? Are people really wanting PM: The Futa Strikes Back so badly and apathetic of In the Bag given it's on RPGM and not Renpy, even though I have spent the most money I have ever spent on a project WITH In the Bag? IDK.
Is it because I have denied dropping my public release everywhere all over people's chin, so the randoms who might find me from a certain site don't know it exists?? No clue.
There are also really fucking weird events going on, like Utah implementing a porn tax with a $500 dollar minimum charge which instantly puts this project in the red per Wired. Sorry, but you are a Utah fan... I will refund your donation if that passes and you will be denied service. I cant afford a $500 tax. Call your state rep and tell them to knock it the fuck off.
So with random nonsense and bullshittery like that going on, it COULD BE a pretty good reason why the fall off.
Anywho, there were no bug reports that werent done INTERNALLY. So all systems go for .3, no need for .21 (for now, maybe with a public release lol maybe that will change.). No timetable just yet as I am waiting for the grace period of the PUBLIC RELEASE to expire before I see if I can do a .3, or am required to do a .21 BugFix.

I personally have only just seen this, as I don't really follow up with notifications. In saying that, I really only followed you for Project Moon, as I personally enjoy Koikatsu models over Honey Select. As an aside, if I had the cash and the company was willing to sell, I would buy the rights to Koikatsu and change that god awful EULA to allow people to make money off it. I know it's tough out there, I'm subscribed to quite a few different creators for varying amounts, one even only has only 2 subs but has been going on for a few months now. All I can really say is keep chugging along, no matter how slow you go. One day something you make will pop off and you'll look back on this and laugh.

I wish I could offer a definitive answer for you, but I only have guesses. While economic issues can certainly be a part of it, I think the rise of AI slop is a big part too. People can crank out a 'complete' game in short order. Creators like yourself one the other hand, have to pour in a tremendous amount of time and effort.
I dont consider AI to be competition. There are people who use it and put effort into it, like Nuteku. Nuteku is a positive example of an AI Dev doing it right, but it might have just been people saw my sales and jumped on it when I started becoming on fire on Bluesky... IDK... but the bottom line is, I need funding to not have my projects look made of Paper Mache and glued magazines. I appreciate those, like you, who stick with my vision and hope for better days...
