[POLL] Natalie Feedback Take 2
Hi everyone!
As we mentioned in our last post, we've asked the voice actors to do another take of Natalie, and thus here we are again, asking you to vote for the voice that you think will be most fitting for "silly" Natalie.
We've eliminated voice #1, so it's now between voice #2 or voice #3. The main two criticisms we took from your feedback is that voice #2 didn't fit Natalie's personality, and voice #3 was rather high-pitched. We've asked the voice actors to do the necessary adjustments (and then some) in the new take.

The final decision will be made by us, but your feedback is important to us and may help us to make the right decision. Keep in mind that even if we decide not to move forward with a voice actor for Natalie, there's a big chance that we will still assign her to a different character instead (as we think they're all very talented!).

hey, bothering you guys again was wondering if the update was ready, I'm dying to see the new features and scenes, i konw ive been quite anoying but the waiting is killing me

So, a question about this update I’ve heard of; I’m going out on a limb and assuming this update is/will be an alpha build, which means I won’t get access to it with my pledge amount, so I hope everyone enjoys it. ^_^;
Hi IW! We haven't yet released the closed alpha build, however when we do, the closed alpha usually lasts about a week (and a maximum of 2 weeks). You will receive access then. Cheers =)

honestly they are both pretty meh maybe in game they may sound better but as of now i cant choose which would be a better fit. voice #1 was a more natural fit for her type of face and character
Oh thank the maker...I agree 100%, Gage Yoder! I was just trying to not criticize for some reason, but that’s EXACTLY what made me pick #3. Well...that, and I felt 3 did a better read. I guess what it really came down to was character authenticity to me. 2’s read would have worked, but I felt it was appropriate to a character who was trying to actively hide how intelligent they are, while I always got the idea from Natalie that yeah, she actually IS a little childish.

#3 did such a great job this time, 2 is still too whiney for me, instead of being cute it sounds like someone trying to be cute.
I agree with the majority vote here. #2 didn’t sound like what I think of as Natalie silliness, it sounded like she was more stoner than silly.
2 def improved this time but so did 3 which i thought nailed it this time. 2 could still be perfect for one of the other girls for sure though.
I have to admit #3 was perfect for it. @Lee I also see what you mean about #2 fitting for Sophia.

I agree with everyone here. #3 did a good job there and the lines flowed more smoothly. Voice #2 I think did an alright job but maybe should rerecord. That felt like a bad take on things but not a bad voice. The statements there felt like they were trying too hard to make the character more slow-witted and made the character also sound like they were not confident in any of their own words or carefree.

Voice 3 fits the "airhead" theme much better.
Voice 2 is really spacy, like she's struggling to say words, And I know natalie isn't the smartest girl but still, it makes her seem like an absolute idiot. Voice 3 is more soft, like carefee and airhead type tone, fits natalie personality better.
Voice number two talks too slow and their voice just doesn't match the character in my opinion. Voice number three has a perfect voice for the character due to the fact it sounds young and silly and they speak with a tempo that fits.
