School of Lust v0.3 Closed Alpha Status
Hi everyone!
You may have noticed that the progress bar for School of Lust version 0.3 was set to 100% last night, and we were ready to deploy for closed alpha testing, however (as usually happens) right before launch, we found an unexpected issue during deployment =/
The issue is that it takes close to 2 minutes to load the game (at the start), which is totally unacceptable. The loading time is probably even worse on a non-SSD drive. We've found what's causing the issue, however we've yet to fix it. This could probably take up to a few more days, but as we promised to release the game for closed alpha testing (for $20+ patrons) today, we will still do so. However, do know that the long loading time at the start is being worked on.
We will post as soon as version 0.3 is available for download today. This could probably take between 2-12 hours.

I think the 2-12 hours post was only for the $20 patron download.
You guys need to fix your download portal, everytime I use it I still can not download despite being a patreon for about a month? Didn't you say there would no longer be issues?

Hey guys, its been a week and I really hope you are going to try to keep the weekly (or close enough) updates coming through. As I am sure all of us would love to be kept up to date on the happenings. Undoubtedly this applies heavily to those who are $10 patrons and have been waiting going on 4 months for a game update. No one is expecting a miracle and you have given a rough outline on how long it could take but a more active expected update time would really help for those of us who have been holding our breaths for the last 4 months. They told me in another post that they still believe that the $10 version should be available before the end of the month.

If I upgrade to tier 20 right now I have to wait an hour or it is instant that I can donwload the game when the close alpha testing is ready?
They've said that it could take 15-20 minutes or so for it to be ready for download for those that just got the $20 tier.

Hi Ment! We're uploading the build right now. We will post in detail on what took so long. In short, everything that could go wrong, went wrong. The good news however is that we fixed the loading problem after all (which is also one of the reasons it took so long). Cheers =)

I have faith you guys will release it tonight (7:25pm here), and I get that it's hard to fix a problem last minute and I as well as everyone else appreciates it. Complaining wont do anything and yes I'm a bit annoyed but you cant help it. I'm sure it's a great update and I'll wait all night if i must ❤

Well.. it does kinda state when you sign up for patreon that $20 gets you access before everyone else.. Be patient, come back in a week or two and it’ll be in your download portal.
How long do you predict until access is given to $10 patrons? I vaguely remember something about a week in between $20 patrons and $10 patrons getting it, but that could just be me remembering a different game.
