School of Lust Mac OS X - Looking for Beta testers!
Hi everyone!
We're trying to release School of Lust on Mac OS X, however as professional as we are, we couldn't get access to a Mac computer to test it out ourselves (or truth be told, we don't want to get near one - #pcmasterrace).
That said, we'd appreciate it if you Mac peasants... I mean gamers, could help us out to make sure School of Lust runs natively on Mac OS X.

You should primarily test if the title screen/animations show up without any crashes, as this was causing problems when running the Windows release using Wine.
Please note that this is the exact same release as the public Windows version. We will deploy the Mac OS X release of version 0.2.1b to our patrons as soon as we can confirm that the native Mac app works.

How about AppStore
We would have to censor the game for the AppStore. Maybe after the full game is released we might consider doing that =)
The scene that allows you to use the disguise and interact in the cafe is not working. More so I have the disguise and have gone through the motions with the dialogue but she still asks me to get a disguise.

Didn't crash on entry will play for a while to see if any problems not listed by Bill will show up
Everything else in the game seems to function. Though I haven't played the PC version to compare and contrast.
So I have finished the 1.1 mac version and noted a few errors.
The first noticed was during the combat senes in the hole. At times the default aim will go to a floating X that follows through every section on the level, rather than where the mouse is pointing. Another issue is that after completing the 21 day time frame, if you go to the school with the "school day" setting on, there is no way that I can find to leave the school. There is no way to pass the time, nor is there anyway to leave the building. Also, there is from time to time an issue with the entire screen going black. This happened at the school, on a school day after completeing the inital game. But the navigation was still functional as I was able to make my way through the school. Also, the character interactions with NPC's were functioning as well, atleast in reguards to the principal and the nurse. (those were the only two I could verify though) the visuals for the interactions cam up, but the background remained blank. No sprites, no map, just music and poking around in the dark.

Not anytime soon. We're using all our resources on School of Lust at the moment.
It won't load anything. I get an error message immediately after running the program.

Can I ask for changelog? what was added to 0.21b ? I already played 0.20c and I ended on 42day I will buy patreon membership soon so what was added to 0.21b ?
If you're taking this translating to other languages very seriously I can do it for free to Polish. Please comtact mr if you're interested (there are much more poeple that like hentai/animated porn games than you can imagine)

If you put it in the application folder everything works fine
i had to dig up my old cursed item the MAC to try this out... the game works fine for me, i did not have any problems playing the game or starting it up.
now work, but only if i move it from desktop to launchpad
Works fine for me. Just downloaded the link and then put the app in the applications folder. I did a runthrough of the game (as much as is available) and no significant problems. I am running the latest version of Mac OSX
Are there other forms of donation? Unfortunately I live in Brazil and I do not have a credit card, if you have please share the method

Got it to work!! Moved file to Application and it worked. My privacy setting ->General has Allow Apps downloaded from: Anywhere. Maybe other Mac users need to do that too, but not 100% sure.

Got an error when I tried running it from the application itself, so I did what I normally do in these cases and ran the game through Terminal. To do this, I went into the application 'package contents/contents/MacOS/nwjs'. It ran fine afterwards.
I just did the exact same thing to see if it would work and it did ??? it was kind of crazy
After creating that folder within the application the game is now running. I will let you know if I find any other bugs.

I had the same "read-only file system" problem when I opened the game directly from download folder, but it now works perfectly after I copied them to the Application folder.

Thank you yet again =) That was very helpful. I know exactly what's going on now. It's a permission issue. Your operating system won't allow the game to create/modify files. Can you right click the SchoolofLust app and select "show package contents", afterwards enter the following folder: /Contents/Resources/app.nw/ Afterwards right click and select "New Folder" and create a folder named "Save" (without the quotes). That should do the trick. I wonder however, if you'll be able to save during the game, after you've ran the game. Let me know please =)
