School of Lust Update (v0.20e)
Hi everyone!
I apologize for the excess of (bug-fix) updates lately, but the previous update (v0.20d) introduced a critical bug, which made it impossible to enter the sex shop (for the first time). I hope this will be the last bug-fix release, until version 0.21 releases later this month. Again, much appreciated to all of you who've reported these, and please keep them coming!
Version 0.20e changelog:
[ADDED] the option to trade in 100 coins (for $100) with Scarlett.
[FIXED] entering sex shop for the first time giving the error; TypeError: Cannot read property 'minimapX' of undefined
[FIXED] bathroom and Flora's bedroom exiting a different location.
[FIXED] when reaching 100% arousal in the Hole, being able to walk to the next room (with 100% arousal), instead of showing the "game over...?" screen immediately.
[FIXED] customers and staff in the sex shop being able to walk on walls.
[FIXED] holes/pits in the Hole blocking the attack projectiles.
[FIXED] Violet's casual/bunny/naked sprites showing an anomaly right next to her when she's walking around.
[FIXED] background music of memory #11 not fading out after having watched the scene.
[FIXED] unable to trade Scarlett if you have less than 10 coins.
[FIXED] memory #12 and #13 not unlocking.
[FIXED] the lighting around the torches inside the memories.
[FIXED] statistics showing the incorrect floors cleared.
[FIXED] a few minor pathing (and other) issues that aren't worth mentioning individually.
[CHANGED] the food stall in town. It no longer blocks the way to the shopping mall.

Hello! I found the free version of your game on NG yesterday, and enjoyed it enough to pledge for the Patreon version. I've already received and downloaded the updated version of the game, and was not disappointed with what I've found so far! There is one small problem I've been having with the downloadable version... it keeps crashing on me. Usually at least once per game day... most often when I'm trying to re-enter or move between floors or rooms in the house. It will freeze, go blank, then the game window will close. Despite having to restart the game 20+ times, I did manage to make it about three weeks into the game last night... but if you could give me any insight as to why the game keeps crashing and how I can remedy it, I would appreciate it. Keep up the great work, this is an awesome game!
Hi evilsquirrel! Sorry to hear about the issues you're having, and thank you for your kind words. Does it show an error message when it crashes, or does it just freeze and close on its own? Have you tried changing the "Sync Monitor" setting in the in-game options menu? You might also want to lower the pathfinding setting. If that doesn't work, can you give me more details about your hardware (powerful/not) and what operating system are you in? I look forward to your reply.

Encountered a bug on the 3rd October the morning cutscene with your alter ego hasn’t triggered and prevented me from finishing the tire swing event, aside from that it hasn’t influenced any other days negatively since I was able to finish any other event.

Hi not sure if its a bug, or not but directly after Violets Event where she gets fired, she is no longer appearing anywhere on the Map for me aside from scripted school events. The new Girl is mentioning that she is either at home or school but she is also nowhere to be found there. ( I checked every house including the one with the stairs next to the cosplayer)
Hi Kaine! You have to run the 'Lust Toys' shop 3 times and it will start a new quest, where it will send you to Violet's house, and she should appear there. We're aware that this part is quite vague, and we'll improve it in the next update. Let me know if you have any other questions. Good luck =)

Found a bug in the game. If you have a level 3 shop and hire Sofia, Natalie, and Violet, Violet stands in front of the register and you can't interact with it anymore. It softlocks the game.

so question why does in the game it plays a little laggy on morning and night but afternoon it plays just fine is the game or does this sound like hardware?
Greetings AA! Did you try changing the "Sync Monitor" setting in options? If you have a 60 hz monitor, it's better to put this setting off, as it could cause lag as you described. Let me know if it helps.

it wont let me start the game it just say smart screen defender and then dont run ive run the game before but it wont run anymore pls fix/help
You should be able to get past the smart screen defender by choosing "More Info" and then "Run anyway".

Okay there are also 3 tiles blocked on every side of the road where you would exit the map so I kinda figure why they are there. They dont really matter when palying with mouse but you cant go around the corner of the rightmost house because of that. I think it should be like that: when clicking these tiles and going there with the mouse you exit like normal but when goning there with the directional arrows you exit the screen when goning "out of the screen". That would be my suggestion
- The flames in the memory screen also have an invisble block - the thin trees (some not all the one next to the house for example has) have invisible block around them although there should be nough space to walk there. - there are two invisible blocks behind the backdoor of Toms house - there is one invisible block behind the blue house next to Toms house - the red roofed house under the protagonists house also has this invisible block at the door - in the bottom left corner of the home map there is invisible block (7 tiles to the right and 1 tile to the top from the corner of the map) - there are three tiles blocked on the playground where the sand is. I don't know whether this is intended or not. Could be - Violets house and the house next to it also have this invisible block - Still cant go behind dads gravestone although it seems you should EDIT: Last thing, when selecting the backdoor of the house even though there is not an invisible block the character weirdly moves to face such a block and says his line (should use the front door). Nothing I brought up so far is major in any way but I think it should be mentioned)
I don't know how we could have missed that before but pretty much EVERY character has an ivisible block above them. The customers in the shop don't and Claire while she is sitting also doesn't but the skating guy on the home street and the rescued girls also have this. The skating guy shows that this "block" is only there when standing properly in the tile grid and not while moving from tile to tile.
I didn't miss that. But since it was everywhere I assumed it was intentional, however weird :P. And like you said, the MC can't move to the square above most NPCs, but if the NPCs are moving then they can move to the square below the MC. It's just unfair.
A dude in town walked through a car. I think it is in the best interest of zoe for the cars to have proper hit boxes lol EDIT: I also meant the moving cars. The fast guys ran through it
After the last day (when the lever is available) you can open the shop in the morning (you never could before) and after closing the shop violets blue question mark persist on the screen after she disappears

I see what you did there in the basketball court to fix walking over the hoops but now you cann still do it kinda (partly). Are the hoops part of the background itself or why couldn't you make the player simply walk under it? Cause they are casting a shadow so intuition says you should be able to walk under it
Ha ha! Sorry about that Supreme. It was a lazy fix, but the problem was that the basketball ("Play Ball") mini-game uses assets that overlaps the hoops. When making it possible to walk under it, the assets of the mini-game also went under it, which messed up the animation of the mini-game. I didn't want to spend too much time on it, but now that I think about it, it's actually a simple fix (creating separate tilesets for each). I'll fix it in the next release =)

2 minor issues, dont know if they have been brought up yet 1. when the shop is upgraded, if you say observe, one of your employees will go to the register and you cant get by them, so you cant close the shop 2. after completing the lust toys mission for violet, you can still select talk on her and it replays the scene with violet trying on floras bunny suit and then asks you to buy it again, though you dont need to, just mentioning it cause it happens
As far as I know you dont have to stand directly behind the counter to close the shop. But sometimes one of the employees tries to go behind it and suddenly stops somewhere and doesn‘t move anymore. The shop may need some more work imo but I am sure it will in the future anyway. EDIT: Oh you mean when upgraded? I don't know about that yet

A few minor issues that are still alive: -In the utility room, you can walk over two squares of the hole: the top right square (adjacent to the rope) and the top left square. -In classroom 1 you can walk over one of the cabinets and the desk with papers -In classroom 4 you can walk over one of the cabinets -In town, the bottom right bus stop is still weird. If you try to sit on it, the MC walks to the right and sits on the sidewalk instead.

You can use your older saves for this one =) It shouldn't take too long now. Maybe an hour or two max.
I ran into a bug where after going to the cafe where Violet works wearing the green frog outfit, and her dad chases the red frog out. After that every time I enter the cafe, Violet, the red frog and her dad are frozen in place and I cannot interact with them. Also prevents the side quest were you try to get pics of Violet for the peeping tom.

dont know if its a bug or im just not far enough in, but after doing the catch that pussy quest, zoe gets sacked, i went back and was told she was either in school or her house, ive been to both but cant find her and she doesnt appear to be an option, this is annoying because i only have level 1 romance with her, meaning im only able to do the first 2 help sessions also, are the dormitories in the game? i cant find them for the red book quest
Hi GN, I assume you're referring to Violet and not Zoe? I'm aware that that part of the game is quite vague, and I will fix it in v0.21. Right now, you have to open/run the 'Lust Toys' shop 3 times, and a quest (Lust Toys: Violet) will appear inside the shop that will tell you to visit her house. Thanks for the quick fixes! I'll be checking them out later to see if they work with the v0.20d saves. Edit: confirmed that v0.20e fixes the null minimapX error. It also works with the v0.20d save files. New issue: When hiring Natalie to work the shop, she blocks your ability to access the shop menu after observing the shop and moving around. Her end position after walking around is the same square the MC needs to stand at to interact with the shop.
