School of Lust Progress Report (December)

It's been a while since my last post. I remembered that I forgot to update you guys on what's going on with School of Lust ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ
The next update of School of Lust is taking quite some time, because I wanted to finish the sex toy shop management system. While the simplified version of the shop is already implemented (and playable in the current version), my goal has always been to create a more engaging shopping management system, where you can hire the gals (Flora, Natalie, Sofia etc.) to work in your shop (which unlocks H-scenes inside the shop), advertise your shop, upgrade your shop etc. A bit similar to the nightclub system in SUPERCREEP, but more elaborate. I don't know about you guys, but I love RPG games that has these management sim mechanics, and managing the nightclub is one of my favorite features in SUPERCREEP.
The main purpose of this feature is obviously to earn money and pay back Gip, but also to increase your relationship with the gals and unlock H-scenes.
We've added quite a few new sex toys you can find in the Hole (and sell in your shop) as well. Each of these sex toys will be available to be used during H-scenes at one point (like Natalie's hypnosis scene, where you can use a dildo).
The shopping system ended up being quite complex to develop, thus delaying this update. However, the good news is that we're pretty much done, and it will be worth the wait!
There is also a second floor to the shop, which will unlock a new way to earn money. I won't spoil it yet, as it won't be available in the next update.
On top of that, we've been working on finishing the gifting system, adding new H-scenes, adding more in-game days, more quests etc. There is still a lot of stuff I want to add to this update, but I think it might be better to split it into smaller updates, instead of making you guys wait much longer. That said, we're going all out to release the update before the end of the year. Stay tuned!

2 months since the last update now lads.
How much longer must we wait for an update at the least? This is getting ridiculous. At least give us a new time table to work with. This is hard earned money we are supporting you with and we deserve to know the status of your work occasionally.
I agree, i've been waiting 6 days...
To be honest, as much as I love this game's art, characters, scenes and themes(hypnosis being my favorite), I am contemplating stopping my pledge. I understand that the dev has wanted to do an extremely massive update but it gets later and later, missing deadlines and trying to make a bigger update to compensate, thus delaying and getting later and later and repeating the cycle. The new update was supposed to be out at the end of NOV 2017, he delayed it to the end of the first week of DEC 2017, then delayed it again to the end of DEC 2017 with the words a few more days and going all out to release by the end of the year. Now it is nearly the second week of JAN and in 1 week(the 14th of JAN 2018), if the update isn't out, it will be 2 months. Plus there has been a lack of communication between the dev and the patrons. All this combined makes it hard to support the project. On top of that, new patrons are coming into the project and not getting their download links.

I don't mind the uncle, after all you do defeat other nefarious characters in other games, but it will be interesting to see the other places when they are incorporated into the game.
