Chainsaw Man Episode 1 Early Access - Chainsaws, Man

Idk what subs you have, but I like them. They seem closer to the Manga than the crunchy roll version

It was a decision by the director of season 1 to frame it as more of a movie than an anime. I remember it got some flak when the season was airing. If I remember right, a lot of the Western audience liked it, but the JP audience didn't seem to like it.

I was expecting Fire Punch next in the Fujimoto list but i ain't complaining.

YESSSS!! I'm so super excited for this!! Discussion and animation talk is gonna be so exciting! :)

Time for teesaw man im excited for the discussions we going to have

Hooray! Chainsaw man - always good for a laugh!

Fujimoto comments on the anime web site. "the rip off of dorohedro and jujutsu gets animated by anime studio that did dorohedro and jujutsu. Ive got nothing to say!

Hey Tee, have you read Ward in addition to Worm? It has it's differences and some who liked Worm don't like Ward or not as much, but in my opinion it perfectly compliments and almost acts as a sort of inverse in its themes in comparison to Worm, and goes even harder on the character depth / development than even worm did.

SAME THOUGHT, “nice fucking job mappa” but boomer people hates this kind of animation apparently 🤣

Every episode you'll get a unique ED song and visuals... yep :D ... and most of them are absolutely amazing. Super excited to re-watch along with you! Also the OP is packed with movie references, if you're ever interested in seeing all of them there are plenty of videos you can look up online that show them parallel to the OP. I'm sure you picked up on it since Goodbye, Eri... Fujimoto loves his movies :D

So hyped for this!

literally just got home and turned on my PC lol, excited

Just a wholesome story of a boy and his chainsaw.

Hype!

Just in time for dinner :)
