Went back to read those chapters and "that" Muichiro and Yuichiro dialogue wasn't in. So I'm thinking the anime added it and they forgot to change the voices lol
I think it's just the fact that they have the same voice that makes it more confusing but yeah no he's real, it's his spirit talking to him from beyond the grave, tho the choice to do it then is a little confusing. And the reason he's usually far from people he's interacting with is cause he's more suspicious and doesn't wanna get close, cause getting close to people is what gets you hurt.

me looking at the post description like 👁️👄👁️ but yeah, as others have said, it's just a weird presentation because he's supposed to have amnesia, so he's slowly unraveling things. Then there's the whole thing with his brother speaking to him... but through him?? xD I definitely thought Yuichiro was the one who survived because of that speech before having to remember that it's Muichiro haha

i think you may be tricking yourself, im 95% sure he has a brother.... maaaainly cause theres a shot in the outro where we see a third child hand reaching out in the river shot. almost looks like if this were a photo, yuichiro would be "holding the camera" at about 22:32. Although i guess we also see the brother in this episode so im realizing now i dont know if the outro would have any more credibility than the main narrative. soooo idk, i assume he is real tho
Yeah, so the way it's shown is weird, but yes, that was Yuichiro talking to Muichiro, and the person we see on screen is Muichiro.
