Frieren season 2 was a big disappointment for me... i feel most of the season is just filler episodes... Hibike has never been popular but is a very underrated jewel... I would have voted, but I missed the poll... Kare kano is the most EVA anime you will ever see without having nothing to do with EVA tematically... you will love it. A new show that really surprised me is Journal with witch, I dunno if you have heard about it.

You are confusing Barakamon and Bakuman, and Oshi no Ko is not an action show either, like Kusuriya. And one reason Hibike wasn't as high voted is because I missed all those pools!! (⇀‸↼‶)

Zom 100 had the misfortune of suffering multiple delays and internal problems at the studio, which is why it lost all the hype it had generated during its broadcast. For example, we didn't get to see the full complete opening until episode 7. By the way, Witch Hat Atelier is animated by the same studio. Apocalypse Hotel is difficult to describe and fit into a genre; it's like a jack of all trades anime, but we can say that it leans more towards slice of life with dark humor. But it's definitely worth watching. Don't rule out Shangri-La Frontier, please!!! It's the anime that every gamer should see.

Zom 100 making the list while Skip and Loafer, Polar Opposites, and DEDE get shafted is a tragedy. I feel like we'd get an especially interesting reaction for DEDE, but it will most likely never win a poll.

I agree on catching up on Monogatari before O&M. Shame I'll have to wait longer to see you watch it but I'm sure it will be worth the wait.

Crying shame about Monogatari, I really would have hoped the reception would have been more enthusiastic. I really love the series and appreciate your discussions around it.

i agree with the first comment, “nah” votes being weighted against shows isn’t a great idea imo. it seems like a less accurate gauge on what people want to see and opens the door to people bombing shows for whatever reason. I do think the schedule you made based on the results makes sense, and you did your best you could with the data, though.

I feel like this tells us there is a need for a dedicated ''music anime'' slot to accommodate shows like Hibike, Revue Starlight, Girl's Band Cry and so on...Could also do with a sports slot too for things like Medalist and Uma Musume and similarly a Drama slot for Apothecary, Oshi no Ko, Takopi...

I would have submitted Apothecary Diaries, but comedy or action would have been a stretch

To be honest I'm here hoping for Girls und Panzer finale 4. Especially since it is just 1 episode. finale 5 is coming this Oct.

Glad to see Lycoris Recoil and Summertime Rendering still hanging in there. Hope they eventually land a spot on the channel someday, they are both fantastic all the way through!

Monogatari falling behind is tragic, I guess it doesn't help that it's been almost 2 years since it aired

Revue Starlight does have a recap movie (Rondo Rondo Rondo) with some added scenes, that could be a good way to get back into it before the sequel movie.

I think you should consider a true ranked choice system for future polls. Having the negative "nah" vote and previously the "hell nah" vote brings the possibility of a relatively small group bombing a series that the majority of members may want or are ok with watching. A loud minority can easily ruin a show's chances. With placement based ranked choice you know for sure that a majority of the people who voted prefer the winner over the runner-up.

I have yet to watch Frieren but DAMN do people seem to love it. I need to get on that ASAP.
