Completely get the reasoning for a lighter show even though I didnt vote for it. Really looking forward to rewathcing this with you. Espescially with the recent manga developements :)

My Dress Up Darling is an awesome, beautifully animated and VA'ed show. During the show's run, one of the side releases was Gojo's VA making Shiziku's dress for Marin's VA. Also, the ED's official video, Akari Akase cosplayed Marin and she was practically Marin stepping off the page. Marin Kitagawa is a fantastically realized character, and comparing her to Nijika is a great call.

I have very mixed but generally positive feelings about this show. It definitely fits your bill for cute, fun and light.

This is a surprise. I dropped this show after the 2nd episode, I got really annoyed with it. That being said I'm willing to give it another shot, maybe I was just in a bad head space, we'll see.

Just because I'm disappointed doesn't mean I wont give this a try with you. Hope I like it, but most importantly, I hope you like it. Cheers!

I love My Dress-Up Darling. It's one of my favorite anime/manga. I found the anime first, and after the season ended, I immediately picked up the manga. It's just so good, and I am so glad to see another reactor I enjoy watching the show. Also, I have to say that Marin's introduction is so much more dramatic in the anime than in the manga. If I remember right, in the manga, all that happens is she stumbles and pumps her hip or butt against his desk.

Man, the duality of man in these comments haha. I really liked this show! It’s cute and funny and has a few moments of real hidden depth.

I feel like I can only enjoy high school romcoms if they're a parody nowadays. I didn't hate this show but not really something id rewatch. I hope you enjoy it though. Also any poll results? I was rooting for 100gf.

well, oof, there was so much good shit on the poll. But at the very least, this definitely fits the "something light" that teeaboo wanted, unlike alot of the other options!
