The Frierend

Can't believe Teeaboo missed Sein on the ed. Thanks for making my rewatch so fun and helping seeing things I missed on the first run
I am so hoping that we keep the band together for Frieren S2. This show was 100% special, and its themes of memory, growth, and, yes, love are handled with such deftness and skill I can only sit back and applaud. MadHouse went out of their way to produce a masterpiece, and I feel myself uplifted every time I watch this show.
It seems like so many people misinterpret the Serie and Lernen scene. Serie is disappointed because Lernen is too humble, not confident of his own abilities and was ok with her proctoring the test when he would always be the one to do so. A man with a lack of ambition and confidence even though Serie believes he has the ability to actually defeat Frieren, who has lost to multiple humans before. Contrast that to Denken when faced with Frieren and Serie, who is full of confidence and drive. That's the drive Serie wanted to see in Lernen.
happy furiiren day y'all :)))
Will you/Have you watched the little omake specials?
Denken is not a dwarf lol
Apothecary Diaries, the other half of Frieren's incredible airing run, would be a dish well served after the treat we just got.
never get tired of that mushishi intro
i love serie too~
Why hasn't Teeaboo reacted to Youjo Senki?? I think it's perfect for the kind of discussions he has us accustomed to. Where are the polls for the following anime?
Based on things he's said in previous reactions, I've come to the conclusion that he's already watched it. He's seemed to have reference Tanya here and there. Though that doesn't mean he can't still watch it fro the analysis.
I can't believe it's over.... this was peak here's to hoping danmeshi or Apothecary next 🤞
... is only the Frieginning
Each frierend is a frieginning
