3mf Designs
I’m thinking about introducing a new tier that would include 3MF files set up specifically for Bambu printers.
At the moment, all of my files are designed to work across any manufacturer’s printers, but quite a few people have asked about having ready-to-go 3MF files. To offer this, it would be as a separate optional tier, as there’s extra time involved in preparing these files alongside the standard ones.
This new tier would include everything you already get, plus an additional folder each month with the 3MF files included.
Don’t worry—nothing will change with the current tier. It will stay exactly the same at the same price. This would simply be an optional upgrade for those who want it.
The new tier would be priced at $13 per month (instead of $10).

I have not printed one model since joining as I’ve no idea what to do with the multiple STL’s under ea model. ie - I downloaded the biker gnome and it has many individual STL’s of bits and pieces of the model… it was labeled by color so I created a plate for ea color and assigned parts to plate by color. Upon examination I saw complete words and symbols floating in the air above plates that are all tiny by design and would be ruined by the supports required to print them… I am totally lost in how to bring the parts together orderly, assign colors, orient the part, setup the slicer and mash slice+print… I have hung around 8-9 months trying this and that to no success. I was on the edge of dropping membership and saw this poll so I’ll toss my 2 centavos in… I would be HIGHLY interested in said 3MF all ready to go… a bit higher fee is no big deal.. however a quick lesson on what I am missing so I can process/print the STL’s might change my mind. I am not an idiot, I design my own models using Shapr3D and have no trouble with processing my creations as I output them as a cohesive assembly then import them into Bambu or orca, assign colors, apply settings, slice/print… I am sure I would be highly embarrassed if someone were to show me what I am missing. I’ve tried the Biker Gnome and the balloon clown monitor buddy… h e l p . . .

I would definitely pay the additional $3/month. I love your designs but haven't printed many in the past due to not having the 3mf files.

I'm interested, but it would be a bit easier to just assign the colors through the filament selection rather than change for each part in the objects area.

I would stay in the current tier. I have Bambu and Snapmaker U1's, so I need to recolor every model when I switch printers in Orca—just my two cents.
Why do you need to recolor every model? I import Makerworld files into SnapOrca all the time and just use the remap feature to adjust the colors if the spools are in the wrong order. It takes less than a minute.

What is the difference? I use Bambu printers and I don't see an issue. I just load the 3mf file and just press print as well. I guess I am not understanding how the new tier will be a benefit over what you already offer. If it is better, I guess I would need an example to see the difference.
It’s not better just easier as you would not have to allocate the filament to colour the model some people would prefer it that’s all :)

That seems like a reasonable cost, I am fairly new to printing and only 2 months into subscribing to you but I have had no problem figuring out how to make the files you upload work easily with my Bambu printers
