RUNAWAY FROM HOME MOD - OUTDATED
Please use the updated version of this mod.
This mod will add the ability for teens to feel sad and talk about being unhappy before they runaway from home. They can plan their runaway and learn how to survive on the streets.
How This Works
Click on the teen that will runaway from home and select "Start Runaway Plan". This interaction will give your teen the "Troubled Teen" trait. With this trait the teen will have a new social menu and interactions. Use these interactions to build up your Street Survival Skill. You can also use the computer to "Research Runaway Locations", and "Research Urban Survival" behind the Plan To Runaway menu. These computer interaction will boost your Street Survival Skill too.
Street Survival Skill
Level 1 - Acquire the skill
Level 2 - You can beg for food
Level 3 - You can beg for money
Level 4 - You can woohoo for money
Level 5 - You can sell drugs
If possible try not to runaway until you're at least a level 2 in the Street Survival Skill.
Begging for food has a potential to fail and you Sim will get a buff either way. Kind Sims will give them some fruit to survive on.

Woohoo for money works just like the social interaction to ask someone on a date. It'll will trigger an event. Teen don't have to woohoo to earn money and can get the gold goal.
Selling drugs is an interaction that will merely loot a buff and money. No functional drugs included.
Search To Find The Teen
If you want you can give a teen sister or brother, parent, or guardian the "Find Missing Teen" trait in CAS. Sims with this trait will get three new interactions while you walk around searching for them. You can ask if they've seen your teen, give a description of them, and give your contact information. On the computer there are two new menus. The police department and the computer hard drive. You can file a missing persons report and upload an image of the missing teen (not functional). Behind the Hard Drive menu you can search past social media posts, the computer, and browser to find clues to where your teen may have went.
Teens Return Home
After a while if things are too tough for the teen, click on them and select "Decide to go back home". At the moment this interaction will always be present on your Sim and adults. Known Issue.
How To Install
-Unzip file. Keep all files in the folder. Place the folder in your Sims 4 Mods Folder.
-Sims 4 game options, mods and script mods need to be enabled.
-Requires the latest version of Sims 4

question in this mod lets say the teen has a girlfriend/boyfriend can they live there while they runway?
Hi, I downloaded the mod today however the computer interactions do not show up neither does any of the street survival skills and I have my teen leveled up to a level 3 in street survival, the only menu I have is for the troubled teen. I can't even have my teen run away. Is there a mod that might be affecting this?
Probably not another mod. Make sure it's the all in one power pc. Change desk and chair combo. For some reason desks affect the interactions showing up for some people.

This mod is awesome but I have a problem，I also encountered the same situation as Nani. I removed all other mods, and the dating event still ends automatically at the very beginning. :(
I do need to know by ending automatically if you still get the reward or it just closes and nothing happens? That'll help me figure out what's not working. I will also have an update to this mod releasing in a few days with a fix hopefully.
How do you actually make the teen run away? Do they just move out?
They simply travel away like normal.
I have a stupid question. My Teenager has reached a skill of 3 and now I want that she run away from home, but I don't know how to do it. When she travel her parents come with her. Should she move out from home?
When the teen travels make sure no one else is selected to go with her.
Just a heads up: similar to the issue @nani was having, when my teen was researching Urban Survival and Runaway Locations, the research was ending after only a few seconds.
It's set to 5 seconds (5 sim minutes) so that's intended.
So I activated the Start Runaway Plan and received the Troubled Teen trait. However, I don't have a Troubled Teen menu appearing when I click on my sim. still just seeing the Start Runaway Plan menu.
The menu will show up when you're talking to another Sim. Hopefully I'm understanding you correctly. Please let me know if it's still not showing up when you're trying to talk to someone about running away. You only click on your teen to get the trait.
Question, every time I try to woohoo for money the date ends quick, and my sim gets no money. is this supposed to happen?
That's not suppose to happen. Will check it out to see what's going on.
