Coolest Shoot of all time! (+ Bonus Video!)

This is one of my favorite shoots ever. There is even video footage of this whole adventure.

This was shot on Lake Powell, the water level changes every year, meaning that sometimes this tree could be completely underwater, and sometimes this part of the lake might be super low and maybe the whole tree could be exposed. This particular time, the tree was perfect.

Shauntia and her man Nate Urry took me out on their boat and I was able to hop off and climb up into the barren branches. My little creative nature nude heart was exploding with enthusiasm.

Lake Powell is Magic. There is no place on earth quite like it. Being here and creating art feels so fulfilling - the ancient slot canyons emanate millions of years of aging earthly wisdom. This began forming before the dinosaurs. Way before humans. To be so small and insignificant and short lived compared to the massive epicness of this water filled ancient canyon is a bliss.
