Your guest seems unnecessarily apologetic when they mention that bar-backing was the most labor intensive job they’ve had. There a reason food service and delivery workers consistently have much higher rates of workplace injury and fatality than cops or firefighters. Backs of house are meatgrinders. === US Bureau of Labor Statistics, Fatal occupational injuries for selected occupations, 2018-22 . https://www.bls.gov/news.release/cfoi.t03.htm
100% Mortgages are stupid, but pre-2008 my country saw a *lot* of 100+ % mortages . New Car , new house, expensive electronics and creature comforts ... all inside the mortgage. It was painful to see then. The logic was : The House will rise in price (as always /s) so it will be *fine*. It wasn't fine.
wildcat union shit, fuck yeahhhhh
At least my 100% mortgaged new-build house will also have a sick fade.
fantastic episode
My dream receiving a doctorate of medicine via a Lambeth degree despite having no medical training is one step closer to reality. Now, to enjoy a nice bagna cauda flavour vape.
I thought I was the only steam loom enjoyer
Exiting The Vampire White Castle, is that anything?
Sounds like White Castle is encouraging me to jump the counter and steal their food
No way Julie can fight.
Something I only know because I happened to be reading some Barbadian history last week: Richard Grosvenor Plunkett Ernle-Erle-Drax is the descendent of the Drax family which created Drax Hall Estate and other West Indian sugar plantations. An estimated 30,000 enslaved people died on the Drax estates over 200 years. Drax still owns and operates Drax Hall Estate on Barbados.
I work at a small microchip fab. We have really shitty bathrobes as replacement clothing near the emergency showers, in case you contaminate your clothes with chemicals. We also have lots of PPE against liquids~
Yeah but do you have PPE against Liz Truss?
Tories accidentally introducing over the counter HRT by allowing anybody to become a pharmacist would be grand
