Blasting "Powerhouse (Part 2)" as an elaborate machine guides my 50p, Rube Goldberg style through a series of increasingly baffling processes to ultimately produce nothing. Also, it's good to know I'm not the only one who thinks Roko's Basilisk is fucking stupid. The moment I heard it, I knew on some level it was bullshit and deserves to be mocked.

Real Bloomberg heads know that Matt Levine (author of their daily email) actually thought more highly of Mr. Bankrun Fraud after that infamous gaffe on Odd Lots about yield farming. It's OK to describe a Ponzi scheme as long as you don't describe it enthusiastically, you see.

Molly is a great contributor, she has been right for longer than crypto has been above 10k. What I liked about Joe Weisenthal's approach was that he gave them enough oxygen to think that appearing on his show would help them. And then allowed them to come on his show and demonstrate their own hucksterist insanity which destroyed them. It would be great to get Molly on to talk about CZ and his "bailout fund" whereby he gets unscrupulous crypto marketers to bare all to him before shorting their holdings and sending them into bankruptcy anyway. He will be the last one standing as Bitcoin reaches $200; saluted by us all for doing his duty and taking crypto down.

I've been hugely amused by Odd Lot's coverage of this story. You can tell the main guy wants to hate crypto so bad but can't fully commit because he would annoy some important people, but then he has egg all over his face right now because he had this Bankrun-Fraud guy on a couple times, and just nodded along as he was getting told that crypto is just a ponzi. the tragic story of a guy who can't understand something because his paycheck depends on it
