Magna Carta Landlords: America Version feat. Sam Knight
(This is this week's free episode -- we've listened to your requests and are now hosting the free episodes on here as well)
This week, we’re joined by Sam Knight of the District Sentinel (@TheDCSentinel) to discuss a U.S. Supreme Court case that may make it even harder for union organizers to meet with farm labourers in the US. With the exceptionally rational and normal composition of the Court, chances are good that this could make things even worse. We also discuss Prince Harry becoming the chief engagement officer at a mental health startup in the US, because why wouldn’t he.

clarence thomas isnt a sociopath, and hes not corrupt. Hes a true believer in feudal style hierarchy. like, yeah he gets paid for how he votes, but he wouldnt vote otherwise if he werent paid. and yeab, he acts with no regard to the suffering of the oppressed, but thats because the man truly believes that the universe is held up by that sufffering, metaphorically, and that any other state of affairs would, at best, be hell on earth.
Hearing about Drag Queen story Hour in 2022 like wow, the conservative freaks really can't stop playing the greatest hits
The only people allowed a Nomadic Lifestyle Licence are government advisers driving to Barnard Castle.
I think one aspect you didn't bring up about the startup that plays into the whole thing is the machismo aspect: How the hell do you sell mental health to Manly Men with Strong Minds and No Problems Whatsoever? You talk a shitload about "peak performance" and "reaching your potential" etc. It's similar to the tricks you use to sell stuff like shampoo and skincare products.

Just want to say Sam Knight played a big part in me becoming a leftist irony boy.
The reverse carbon offsetting bit would probably make a lot of money among certain types
🎉🎉🎉🎉Free eps on patreon, now I don't need Spotify for podcasts anymore🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thank you for hosting the free EPs god bless
When’s the full album coming out?
How is there a podcatcher bad enough that people are asking to use the patreon player instead‽
TF in particular uses Podbean, which as far as I can tell is hosted on my old Pentium II on free dialup
Two eps in as many hours? This is a good monday
