Medieval Geezers feat. Eleanor Janega and Patrick Wyman
We finally got around to the thing that everyone told us to do: review Guy Ritchie's King Arthur movie, a film in which the early medieval legend is rendered as a tale of East London geezers. To verify its accuracy, we brought on friends of the show Eleanor Janega and Patrick Wyman. Are you not entertained?

Guy Ritchie must have stolen the "straight bait" idea from Arrested Development at the time to come up with the moat witches scene.
*Riley British accent* "gonna get some knights together, roight, round a table, a *round* table, for some 'ighly illegal chivalry, adventures, and derring-do, innit"
5th-century trashfuture episode when?
Yo! The Man From U.N.C.L.E. movie was amazing. Please do an episode on it.
100% I side with Nate and all the TrashFuture workers who chose to edit how they see fit.
Alice losing it over the Tacoma digs is what I am here for
As someone born in and currently living in the god-forsaken vortex that is Tri Cities but who also spent a significant chunk of my life in the wonderful town of Bellingham in the other corner of the state, I believe I am uniquely qualified to speak on this WA state debate. Also a fun anecdote that indicates how deranged my home town is: my high school mascot was a mushroom cloud because they made one of the atomic bombs at a facility not far from my current apartment
Hello from the US, longtime listener/recent subscriber. I hadn't seen this film and decided to rent it when you posted this ep. I figured it was worth renting and subjecting myself to what was marketed here as basically "parkour hooligan king arthur" instead of skipping your bonus content. Thank you for this content and for putting me in a position to watch this preposterous film. One of the wildest things I've seen in a while, good and bad in so many big ways. Looking forward to sharing this with friends someday after All Of This is over. Dark Ages Lord of the Rings Dudes Rock.
More Eleanor please
Absolutely blessed content
Aw fuck, I just realized the cute guy in the man from uncle is a cannible
No riff has ever gotten me horribly excited like "All-Tacoma Episode." Please destroy my home city.
If your going to do another King Arthur movie. You should do John Boorman's Excalibur.
This was a goddamn triumph for all involved
As someone who lives in Cornwall some 45 minutes drive away from Tintagel itself, his pronunciation of the place is amazing. Also, the one true Arthur film is 90's Merlin with Sam Neil.
I actually genuinely thought this was the Keira Knightley King Arthur from 2005. Got completely confused at first. Now, we need to egg them to do that to!
That jude law drop sounds exactly like Milo when a startup is particularly egregious.
Yesss
This is truly the most chaotic TF configuration and the best retelling of a Guy Ritchie movie I never knew I needed *parasocial relationship deepening*. Excuse me while I go order a takeaway hotdog.
I feel that it is important to state that yes, sirs, we are entertained
Flashback to season 1 TF when every episode had intermission
Now do the 2004 King Arthur
"berry my dick... crowned king arthur"
Yes, this is why I subscribed.
