Balthasar Speedboat 7
It's been a while, but we've brought it back: our non-stop comedy riff series returns with Riley, Milo, and special guests Glenn Moore and Pierre Novellie. Riley posits the argument that 'The History Boys' is the actual true 20th century British artistic work. We also discuss airport novels and whole lot more. Sorry for the delay!

Is there any chance we could petition to rename Canadian Thanks Giving as "Sure, bud!"?
"If you invented a new show and you just picked someone who's quite a good gardener, and now they're the celebrity gardening show host, [...]" [...] "And now he's got his dick out in the sun!" That's a more specifically Quebec part of the Canadian television experience
Wherefore art thou Neville Neville
GEARED TOWARDS CHILDREN I got it on the fourth listen!!
No, he clearly said Ghiswold's Children, the beloved show where kids say the darnedest things (to serial paedophiles)
Sweet potatos with marshmallows is good tho lol

Steven King's response to people bringing up the child group sex scene is apparently along the lines of "I'm sorry. I was doing way too much cocaine. I don't know what I was thinking".
The gang accidentally discovers Ben Shapiro's arguing/gaslighting style
Griswold's Children of Dune
I got a strong feeling we're all gonna accidentally Mandela effect, "Gizwald's Children", into existence 😆 Also, it sounds more LOTR than classic cannon Disney caper to me.
On the white guy move of speaking authoritatively on subjects you know nothing about, Harry Frankfurt's 'On Bulshitting' is relevant reading
I believe Soldiers Without Borders might accurately describe Big Boss' Outer Heaven thing from the metal gear games.
I think they're literally called Militaires Sans Frontieres at the first Mother Base.
Also because warmer weather in October is also more conducive to outdoor sports. And I can't speak to sweet potatoes but yams & marshmallows are delicious. Absurd but delicious.
Canadian Thanksgiving was moved from November to October following the First World War, so it wouldn't conflict with Remembrance Day. And sweet potatoes with marshmallows are cursed.
