these early shows were so wild, but it was crazy how much of a farce they were. the gracies basically set them up. A lot of the fighters complained that the padding on the mat made it hard to throw effective kicks.

Definitely should keep going. The first bunch of shows until they got rules were fucking crazy. Liddell and Rampage were peak UFC time, but they have nothing on punching a man in the dick and balls so many times that he taps out.
