This was the first ever TNA PPV I purchased and I stayed hooked on TNA pretty much til Hogan & Bischoff came in then things started to fall apart. TNA 05-09 was a whole different level. AJ vs. Abyss was the perfect main event to hook a new fan like me
The only matches that ever get talked about from Lockdown are the Lethal Lockdown matches (and AJ & Abyss from this show) because it was the only matches that were booked to be cage matches.
So they just aren't going to talk about X-Pac throwing the trash can in the ring and it landing perfectly upright?
They were distracted by NorCal Val. So was I.

that main event is incredible. abyss was in his physical and kayfabe prime, AJ in this match is the best wrestler that ever lived. say what you will about TNA but they let a lot of amazing talent just run full tilt and show us what they could do.

TNA Turning Point 2004 has Triple X vs. AMW where Skipper does the cage walk. It also includes The Kings Of Wrestling (Jeff Jarrett, Kevin Nash & Scott Hall) vs. AJ Styles, Jeff Hardy & Randy Savage (last ever match) and a really good Petey Williams vs. Chris Sabin match. This is also where they invade the WWE commercial. Edit: And no, you guys never did watch this show.
Speaking of cage matches, you guys should do a podcast episode on NWA-TNA PPV #51 (June 25, 2003).
