I just read Booker T's comments, and it seems like he had the same opinion of the place I did around that time: WCW 2.0, the boat is sinking and noone is allowed to get over cause the guys on top are morons, might as well just fuck around and have fun on television. Can't blame him for being sad about that, also they kinda sorta put his wife in one of the worst wrestling matches ever televised, so that sucks.

This is one of those PPVs that make my previous self ashamed they actually wanted WWF/WWE to win the war. Just a deeply petty, awful, completely business-destroying event. Anyway, you were all clearly enthralled by the main event talking about someone who wasn't even in the match. But also FEED ME MORE or something.
So apparently the reason the Awesome/Storm entrance was cut was that the WCW/ECW side ramp was having some sort of issue that they needed to fix and couldn't do it by the time Awesome and Storm went out

Dude, Raven and Regal HAD to be high on crack for that match. I understand heel vs heel is very hard to sell and that the hardcore match was reserved for RVD and Jeff, but good God that was embarrassingly bad.
Mike Awesome just doesn't work without the mullet and clean shave.
