Compiling A List Of Video Games That Sponsored Pro Wrestling Events
Hey all! As the title reads we are compiling a list of video games that have sponsored major pro wrestling events over the years... and we need your help! We are already on the hunt but more hands on deck will increase our chances of finding more.
This could be episodes of Nitro, RAW, Thunder, Impact, PPVs, etc from any of the major pro wrestling companies (including Japan-based companies, looking at you Shadow The Hedgehog in Pancrase). Basically the rule of thumb is: was there an on screen graphic on the screen like the one above? We want it listed!
The best way to submit a game you found is by listing the game name, if it had a console associated with it on the ad spot, & the specific episode/ppv/event (date & time included so we can find it easily) in a post in this thread.
We thought it would be easier to keep track of this by making a meta post here on Patreon so everyone can come back to the comments whenever they find something when watching wrestling as we assume this will be a long project that gets more added as we all watch more.

I don't know if this counts but clash of clans did sponsor WrestleMania goes Hollywood a few years ago they made the Viking raiders look stupid as fuck and ruin a good tag match because they couldn't shut up about the sponsor the entire match

On one of the episodes of Watch This! The KENTA & Marufuji vs. Kanemaru & Makoto Hashi match from NOAH Navigate for Evolution 2003 I remember seeing that there was a logo for I think it was the first Halo game on the ring apron and then the original Xbox logo was on the turnbuckle and the ring mat.
Rock Bottom 98 was sponsored by Glover. Also slam of the week was sponsored by glover for a time
WWE Backlash 2017 was sponsored by Rocket League!
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves was a sponsor for Wrestlemania 41 (Night 1, 4/19/2025). Remember the show started with a DJ named Salavtore Ganacchi doing a small set before Jey Uso and Gunther opened the show.
I remember a Sonic Heroes spot on a 2004 Raw. Not sure the exact date though. Also Sonic 06 sponsoring a replay on Impact.
I don't remember where exactly but I recall some DBZ games being sponsoring either Raw or Smackdown. I think it was Budokai 1 and 2.

CMLL Pokémon Legends Z-A show from last September was sick

Unsure if there was ever an official collaboration between them, but the Yakuzaseries has a history of including pro wrestlers in it. Yakuza 6 has Saki Akai as a hostess, as well as The Six Lunatics; a gang made up of Okada, Naito, Kojima, Tenzan, Yano and Tanahashi. There are a bunch more featured in the clan creator minigame (including Shibata, Nagata, Ishii and even Captain New Japan) Yakuza Kiwami 2 features Muto, Tenryu, Fujinami, Riki Choshu and Chono; whilst The Florist is actually voiced by Yoshiaki Fujiwara. Also whilst not an official collaboration, one of my favorite wrestling and video game links are the interpolation of vgm into wrestlers themes. Not a video game, but one of the craziest and most outlandish sponsor I've seen for Monday Night Raw was Yu-Yu Hakusho. Jerry Lawler can't seem to pronounce the show name whatsoever. "Check this out! It's also sponsored by 'Yu-Hoo-Hakoo-sho'! Check this out JR! I love this guy! Yu-yu...GOTTA WATCH THIS SHOW"
