Just over 20 years ago, on June 20th, 2006, WWE brought us the 2nd episode of ECW on Sci-Fi. The first episode of WWE ECW has taken place to much criticism, but also a fantastic rating of over 3 million viewers. With the debut of talent like Kurt Angle & Big Show, as well as characters like The ECW Zombie, no one really knew what to expect from this show. Seemingly, that 'no one' included the people in charge. By the way, you can check out our review of the 1st episode of WWE ECW right here!
But, this is the next week, and it's time to see what groundwork will be laid for the future of this 'brand'. The night before on WWE Monday Night RAW, ECW showed up to interrupt the show. Sabu made his presence known by not only attacking John Cena, but a chair thrown at Cena's head bust him wide open. This, of course, is to set up the match between John Cena & Sabu at this Sunday's "Vengeance" PPV.
Our main event for the evening also involves two superstars from RAW; Edge & Randy Orton. They're here to take on the team of Kurt Angle & Rob Van Dam. RVD had also shown up on RAW the night before to attack his opponent for Vengeance, Edge! Kurt Angle & Randy Orton are continuing their rivalry stemming from the last ECW One Night Stand, where Angle beat Randy Orton.
Also, Macho Libre is here to tell the ECW fans about how Macho Man did promos, which The Sandman takes umbrage to. Kelly is here to give us another Exposé, Sabu takes on The FBI's Tony Mamaluke w/ Trinity, Tommy Dreamer stands up to The Big Show, and John Cena is here to confront the ECW 'Extremist Rebels'.

Another great episode boys. I’m new to the patreon so idk where I should post this idea to, and you can complete ignore this and call be a bitch, but you should do a segment similar to the theme song segment but listing your favorite and hated attires from wrestlers.
For real, the Steve & Barry's hoodies they produced are the thickest, most comfortable hoodies I've ever worn. The blank they used is god tier.

I was at the Cena vs Sabu at Vengeance 06, shit was nuts.
This is what it's all about, boys.
I saw a match at the ECW Arena (2300) several years ago. Gangrel and Kevin Thorne were a tag team. The crowd chanted Fang and Bang. Thorne proceeded to give the metal horns and then turned it into a two-fingered G-spot driller. It was one of the best taunts to never make it into a video game.
This stone cold sucks, because you're reminding me that this time 20 years ago I'd just graduated college. Didn't watch wrestling at the time but "WWE is launching a new weekly show on Sci-Fi Channel; to fit the network's format there's talk of doing storylines with vampires and aliens" made it to whatever general TV and movie blogs I was reading at the time. Even mainstream entertainment writers could tell WWE didn't know what they were doing with this show. "Vince should've been way less hands-on" is pretty much the story of WWE from the second that the ink dried on the WCW deal.
