We're coming up on Memorial Day, so what better way to celebrate America than by watching a Memorial Day episode of WWE Monday Night RAW?! Hooray!
Of course, we are only a few weeks removed from the last episode of RAW from 2006 we watched, which means we are right in the middle of Kane's "May 19th" situation. Except this time, we finally get to find out who is behind all of the mystery & shenanigans that have been haunting Kane for weeks now. It's...himself! Masked Kane interrupts Kane's match with Shelton Benjamin, which sends Kane into a shock like he's never experienced before...and hopefully never did again!
We also can't forget the big main event; Triple H takes on the 20 year old (did you know he's 20?) Kenny of the Spirit Squad! But, it's not just a regular match, it's the first ever SPIRIT JACK match, where all of the other members of the Spirit Squad (Nicky! Mikey! Johnny! Mitch!) will surround the ring, lumberjack style. Vince McMahon put this match together, after Triple H "accidentally" hit Shane McMahon with a sledgehammer a couple weeks ago, and also stopped the Spirit Squad from attacking Shawn Michaels last week.
ECW is about to make it's big return to television, and ECW One Night Stand 2006 is right around the corner. Paul Heyman & Mick Foley have a face-to-face confrontation in the ring, which leads to the breaking news that RVD isn't the only person joining the ECW brand, but so is Kurt Angle!
Also on this show, "The World's Largest Love Machine" Viscera seeks revenge on Umaga, Beth Phoenix & Torrie Wilson team up to face Victoria & Candice Michelle, Big Show faces Edge for the #1 Contendership of the WWE Championship, and WWE Champion John Cena faces the newest RAW acquisition, Johnny Nitro!

You know, oddly enough, May 19th isn't a great day for me. It actually is an anniversary of a really bad event in my life (happened after 06). So I really appreciate you guys doing this and having it on this day to give me something to laugh about and get me through being in my head all day. You guys do way more than you know for a lot of us ol' hog dippers.

i am fr begging you to share your controller setup for backlash. i tried to set up no mercy in an emulator the other week after watching the aftershow but the problem is that No modern controller has enough buttons to properly emulate the n64 controller, and no mercy is one of the rare n64 games that uses all of the controller's features

This was the first Raw I ever went to live. As a 10 year old I loved this show as I went to it with my Dad and it was awesome. That said, this show fucking SUCKED lmao but this is an all timer episode of the pod
