Watch This Suggestion Thread | March 2026
Is there a match you've been wanting us to react to? Now is your chance to let us know about it!
We have just debuted a new series in the $10 tier called "The Long Way", in which we'll bring on a guest to watch a show of their choosing. But, we still want to hear from you, DEADLOCK Patreon! So, moving forward, we will start doing monthly suggestion threads for Watch This.
In the comments below, suggest a match you'd like us to watch. If there's a specific reason why you want us to check it out, let us know! If you want to provide a link to the match, that is also cool.
Make sure to Like/Heart suggestions that you also enjoy, as that'll help us when it comes to picking what we're going to end up watching.

Y'know what, fuck it, we all love a snug-ass lariat, and there's definitely been a dearth of non-WWF/WCW matches as of late on Watch This, and who better than the Lariat himself, Stan Hansen? In this case, I suggest the match he had against Dr. Death Steve Williams in AJPW, June 5th, 1990. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tVQOE8vBvvM
Batista vs Undertaker Wrestlemania 23
Bret Hart vs British Bulldog | In Your House 5
I’d like you guys to watch El Generico vs Shingo from PWG Guerre Sans Frontières. It’s a little slower paced than your average Generico match but I love how he makes Shingo look like an absolute killer here. This ‘08-‘11ish run for PWG was the most I’ve ever been locked in to current product wrestling and Generico was like top 5 best in the world at this point. You could probably pick any of his matches from this run and be guaranteed a banger. If you’re a little too young to have seen them at the time and you like AEW, go back and check these shows out and the shit will hit like crack
Bob Sapp vs The Great Muta!! With entrances
Is MMA still on the table? If so, you boys have GOT to see either (preferably both) fights between "The Korean Zombie" Chan Sung Jung and Leonard "Bad Boy" Garcia Fight one at WEC 48 in 2010 was The Wrestling Observer's Fight of the Year, and the rematch at UFC Fight Night 24 a year later is one of the most legendary finishes in MMA history. There's so many iconic fights out there, I know Deadlock is a wrestling first product, but y'all's MMA reactions are just as good! Please consider!

Batista vs. Simon Dean from Smackdown on September 1, 2005. This is legitimately one of my favorite matches from this era, and I love showing it to friends who either a.) just started watching wrestling, or b.) have never watched wrestling. https://youtu.be/xMbYUMgdnKU?si=97IOqMPGOX-XLIY8
The Cruiserweight Classic a la Wrestling Society X series! could totally do episodes in chunks but it's some of the best wrestling WWE's put out ever, and Danielson on commentary is so good.
Ken Shamrock vs Vader at In Your House 15: A Cold Day in Hell Reason: 🥔🥔🥔
South park wwe episode
A lot of great suggestions here with very few repeats, but if there was something long overdue for Deadlock to watch, it would be this... Many Moons ago Deadlock did several Game show episodes for "Watch This" featuring Pro Wrestlers but they have yet to do the greatest game show of them all, I'm talking about the Season 4 Episode 3 addition of MXC WWE Vs TNA!

Anything JCW.
Macgruber part 1
The match from my profile picture 😅 some 2015 michinoku pro. A ten person tag that crams about an hour worth of a show into 15 minutes and the guy Takayuki Ueki steals the show IMO. Its the kind of match I wish I had seen on watch this for the 1st time because it has no commentary and I think the boys would fill that void perfectly. https://youtu.be/D9d-HFDKVIs?si=Q_f1KBGlpHQazxIl
Undertaker vs punk mania 29
That one where they put Abdullah the Butcher in an electric chair
Watch This #160 is the one they cover this!
A funny and well-known, yet minor, botch involving Diamond Dallas Page (DDP) on WCW Thunder involved a wrestler known as The Machine during a 2000 episode. One of the most hilarious botches I’ve seen 1st February 2000 (Aired on 02/02/2000)
James NEEDS to see the heavily UFC inspired Raven vs Justin Credible from TNA Genesis 2005. It’s the best of both worlds: UFC and PJ “credible” Polaco.
Jun kasai vs El desperado for the iwpg junior heavyweight death pain invitational 2025
Don't think it would be popular, but I would love to see a review of the first netflix era match! Completing the story of having reviewed a match of every era so far
APA vs Kai En Tai December 30 2000 Heat
Zandig v Joker (I think) where the FUCK YOU MotherFnBomb to the bundle to the outside is from
Fight Zone! May 95. It's on YouTube. Refs have cattle prods. Fake MMA/wrestling shit with Easyrider biker chicks as ring girls. Awkward filmed promos. It's great.
Bryan Danielson and John Walters VS Paul London and Spanky WWE Velocity 11/15/2003, absolutely nuts that this is a match that happened in WWE lmao Timestamp 14:55 https://youtu.be/4W2sZ5CIF_M?si=ESnTVU6RVeA0KvV4
I have two suggestions for "Watch This" wit da same two participants: Dean Malenko vs Essa Rios. First match - https://youtu.be/SWVZhdBVihU?si=9tFZY69u9iUR-6XZ Second match - https://youtu.be/chzZ59eh3Pg?si=oZX2Lt55IDukYCz3 Imo these matches are underrated/ hidden gems. (both matches are short)

Necro Butcher Vs Bob Sapp
Aja kong vs bull nakano steel cage ajw wrestlemarinepiad 1990
I got a weird one for you, but I think it’s in your areas of interest. A compilation of commercials taken from a tape of SmackDown and Everybody Loves Raymond in 2001. It’s got quite a few WWF and WCW ones but also generalized pop culture from your childhoods. It would be interesting to see you gleefully react to wrestling and non-wrestling things together. https://youtu.be/HOvX9os7g8s
Flyin Brian vs Jushin Liger at SuperBrawl II
Frank Shamrock vs Yuki Kondo from the Pancrase 1996 Anniversary Show. https://youtu.be/5L3s5hBgyLM?si=ua6Uu7vr-RJtBrOw The boyz have watched UFC, PRIDE and even Bellator, it’s only right that get they get into some Pancrase.

Finally my chance to shine. Please watch this episode of Late Night with Conan O'Brien. Big Show is his guest, but it's the guest after with Dr Ruth that makes it worth it just because of how hilariously uncomfortable she makes Show. https://youtu.be/mNkEyQ1VJMM?si=D9vOul5L_NWm1onG
Ken Shamrock Vs Don Frye from Pride 19!
How about something super fucked up Teddy Long vs Eric Bischoff from Survivor Series 2005 or Eric Bischoff vs Shane McMahon Summerslam 2003. Both equally fucked up choices. And Final choice, John Cena vs K Fed from Raw in 06 (I think the first Raw?)
Ken Shamrock vs Vader from In Your House: A Cold Day In Hell. They just stiff the hell out of each other
Tajiri vs HHH for the title in Japan. It's on the raw vault. Hunter bumps like crazy for my main man Tajiri.
Macho Man vs Steamboat at Mania 3 to see how you guys think it holds up

I think it's time to continue WWF D-Generation X: In Your House with Triple H vs Sgt Slaughter in the Bootcamp Match! Alternatively: Goldberg & Muto vs KroniK from AJPW 2ND Wrestle-1 (1/19/2003).
Danny Basham vs Nigel McGuinness WWE Heat 9/11/2005
Terry Funk vs Jerry Lawler 1981 No Holds Barred !!! I mean...THAT MATCH MEANS SOMETHINGS TO ME DAMNIT!!!

Dusty Rhodes vs Randy Orton, Texas Bullrope Match, Great American Bash 2007. ..really anything from this PPV, I was there and it had some memorable stuff. MVP vs Matt Hardy for the US title, Umaga vs Jeff Hardy for the IC belt, Great Khali vs Kane vs Batista, and John Cena vs Bobby Lashley. Hornswoggle was there!
My suggestion would be Stone Cold Vs Dude Love from Over The Edge 1998. Super nostalgic and PEAK Attitude Era style match that I think is a super underrated gem. Silly ass pre-match promos from Pat Patterson are icing on the cake. So damn fun. The YouTube upload doesn't have the stuff before Dude enters, or the hype package, but it's the best video quality. I'll include the 480p Dailymotion link as a second option https://youtu.be/-3iP5REzMGw?is=Ldf_g9z6ktDSqoRk https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x3b0ghy
