That opening segment was absolute death. No segment involving Tough Enough or the Diva Search was any good, but whoa boy. Also Al Snow is a bad wrestler, trainer, booker and also a terrible mind for the business in general. He stinks and I hate him. ...and then JBL. Yeah. Thank god I wasn't watching at this time.

I HAVE THIS EPISODE ON VHS. My mom used to tape the shows for me when I had baseball games. I still have this one taped over a Christmas special of SpongeBob
Around the time the WWE Network shut down, I went on a rewatch of 2004 WWE, where I watched every Raw, Smackdown, and then PPV. I remember not totally hating this episode. Now I don't know if that's because this one was good, or because it was just less shitty than the average show around that time, especially Raw.
Smackdown was more enjoyable than Raw in 2004

I don't believe the story about him shooting on Angle, but he definitely went harder than he was supposed to and could have seriously injured him.

This show wasn’t really that bad despite literally all of the things that were wrong with it. Regardless of this, though, in 2004, one could have been (given that it came out two weeks before this episode) playing GTA San Andreas or have been doing maybe literally anything else lmfao

It’s funny the last ep had you guys talking about cameramen getting in the ring when this ep has an interviewer getting in the ring. Also in like 2018 my local indie PWX in NC had a storyline where a cameraman got annoyed at a wrestler messing with him so he got in the ring and immediately had the shit beaten out of him. Next show he had a match and won, huge pop brother.
